As you can probably tell, journals are NOT my forté!
That being said... Updates!
I'm back in Canada, for now. Finding a place that would be willing to hire me wasn't working out too well, mostly because people were wanting to hire someone who could work right away. I had more positive responses though at the very least, just.. The paper works take forever and most companies don't want to deal with it. That being said, once my boyfriend (which that part I'll address in a moment) moves, I'll start sending my resumés there and see if a company will be willing to go through the 4-8 weeks to process with the government to hire me. At the very least, I can tell them I'll have a location to live at and would be able and willing to work right away as soon as possible.
Now! Onto the relationship. On our anniversary, my boyfriend said he'd like to spend the rest of his life with me. Soooooo... This means we're kinda, sorta engaged. He doesn't like the fiancé word, so I still call him boyfriend. He's going to have a custom ring made for me based on either one of two video games that I love. It'll be a nice surprise to see it. At the same time, we're looking into what needs to be done for us to be together government wise and which way would be simple and more efficient. Yay government...
OK! Onto something else. Since I've returned I've attended two cons. C.A.P.E. in Cornwall, which I wore Black Cat, and Ottawa Comic Con, where I made Ms Marvel to wear. In the near future, I will be attending Montreal Comic Con and (obviously) Otakuthon. There may be another I might attend, but it's not 100% engraved on stone yet.
For MCC, I'm most likely going to re-wear Ms Marvel for one of the days, but I am also thinking of re-visiting Phoenix as well. That will depend on the time I have as I'm helping a friend with his costume for Otakuthon and I started working on another costume for Otakuthon.
For Otakuthon, I'm working on making a character to a game that has yet to be released or even started production! At least, not until the kickstarter ends. I'm working on making Miriam from Bloodstained: Rituals of the Night. It's Igarashi's new game, which has that Castlevania feel to it, because well.. I don't really need to say why! I got all the fabric and started to work on it right away, starting with the wig. Why the wig? Because I needed to get a few things to create my own pattern for Miriam's dress and I just finished getting all that I needed today. The wig is almost complete and next will be starting on the blue portion of her dress and so on. I'm going to try to make a prop as well for her, but I'll see if time allows it. If not, I'll look at her alternative design idea weapons and see if I can get/find something similar. I'm actually really anxious to have that costume.
So... that's all for now! I'll try to get an update up at some point in the near future. Between working on costumes and job hunting, I'm keeping my hands busy. OH! I also decided to post a progress shot of the costume. Yeah, I know it's just the wig, but.. It's my first time dyeing a wig so... Nyeh!

Fresh new start
Hey! It's been a few months since I wrote something with a small update, so here's the news!
In less than a weeks time, I will be on a train going to NY Penn station to stay with my best friend for a few days before I officially go down to Maryland. It's going to be rough for a while, but my boyfriend is very supportive and is helping me a lot. I'm hoping I will be able to find some form of work when I'm there also! So... keeping my fingers crossed there. Also, this will help us get much more as it's going to mean we will be around each other for more than just a month. I'm optimistic about this.
Also, this means with a change of city and l
MCC Blog
It was a semi rough MCC for me. I was suppose to work the weekend, but a family emergency popped Friday morning where my mom was sick. I couldn't focus at all and asked to bow out for the weekend to take care of my mom, but I helped train someone to take my spot before doing so. I wasn't going to leave someone who didn't know what they were doing in my place. Saturday I stayed home to make sure my mom was ok and that it didn't get worse. Thankfully, the medication was working well and she was doing better by the end of the day. She asked me if I had a chance to even see Comic Con on the Friday, which I didn't get a chance to really, so she to
Montreal Comic Con and What not
Firstly, I uploaded all the shots that I personally liked/thought were the best shots from the photoshoot with ~cyberfox007 (https://www.deviantart.com/cyberfox007). He's a great friend of mines and it's really easy to work with him for photos. If anyone's in the Montreal area for a convention and wants a shoot, feel free to message him asking him for one. I'm sure he'd gladly schedule a photoshoot with you!
Right, onto the topic. Montreal Comic Con is this weekend. I'm going to be there, but as a guest liaison, just like at Otakuthon. The only major difference is, I won't be that orange cat blur running around like crazy. It was a busy year at Otakuthon for me and MCC will be
Updates!!!
Hey! It's passed Otakuthon! Time for an update!
As you can see, I uploaded a small preview of a small shoot I did with ~cyberfox007 (https://www.deviantart.com/cyberfox007) at CoTiCon in Cornwall! Yes, that is Katt from BoF2, like I said I was going to do! Keep your eyes opened for more of those. I also put his water mark on the image as well for him.
Other things to note, I will be moving the to US in the possible near future? By that I mean I plan to move down by November, but that will depend on a few things. Main thing being my drivers license! I want to be able to drive to get to a job interview to get a job.
What else... Eventually I'll upload more work from my graphic
